I live in a brand new community of homes. Houses are constantly being built and moving trucks continually driving by. It’s changing so fast that we can hardly keep up. You see, when we moved in there were only about five or six homes built, and now there are over 40 with many more to go! It’s so fun to meet all the new neighbors, their kids and pets, and hear their stories of where they lived prior and what brought them to this new community. I try to give each neighbor a small plant for their home. Nothing over the top, just a small container with some succulents. They love the nice gesture, but they don’t realize that I’m actually giving them something that will help them connect with their home. This small green plant represents the Wood Element of Feng Shui. The Wood Element infuses the space with an essence of starting fresh, of renewal and growth. It facilitates connection to their surroundings and encourages implementing new routines, new habits and fresh new ideas about their day to day life. If you have a new family moving in on your street..... be sure to get them a new green friend for their home! Below is a list of my favorite plants for good Feng Shui
