My Top 3 Tips to Instantly Refresh Your Home

We often think we have to go to great lengths to refresh our homes. Just thinking about organizing closets and scrubbing floors can make you want to run the other way.  Fortunately, it’s much easier. 

Below are a few tips to instantly make your home feel renewed.  Within minutes, you’ll notice a difference!

1. Open a Window

There’s no denying it, opening a window to get some fresh air flowing through your home seems so simple. Unfortunately, we don’t often do it. We’re too busy with our day to day activities and it seems to be the last item on our list. I encourage my clients to open a window for 10 minutes every day to refresh the room and clear out any stagnant air. Go for it, you’ll love it!

​2. Sweep and Vacuum

Your floors easily collect debris. It’s even difficult to see all the stuff that is deep down in carpet. Take a few minutes to clean your floors. Try sprinkling a bit of Baking Soda on the carpet, let it sit for 30 minutes and then vacuum up. You carpet will smell oh-so fresh. 

​3. Treasure Living Plants

Give any plants in your home a fresh drink of water and a little love. If you don’t have any plants, add a new one to your home. Living plants are a most amazing air purifier and they bring a wonderful natural energy into your space.
