Pumpkins Are Good Feng Shui

Who doesn't love decorating in beautiful fall colors of red, orange and gold!?!?  Well better yet, actually decorating with pumpkins encourages good Feng Shui as they represent abundance.

In ancient China they would clean out pumpkins and then fill them with things that represent wealth such as coins,  treasured statues, or personal tokens of abundance.  Now I won't be doing this as I'm not much of a fan of the gooey, squishy, stringy stuff inside.  However, you'll always find them on my front porch this time of year to welcome in good Chi.   Additionally I keep a collection of mini pumpkins in a bowl in the center of my home to bring overall good fortune and the energy of abundance to my entire home.  Want to go a step further?  Add a nice big pumpkin or collection of pumpkins to your Wealth and Abundance corner.  (Need help finding this? Get your whole family involved to decorate your home with some beautiful pumpkins with the intention of creating good Chi.  Have fun with them and decorate, carve or embellish to your hearts delight.  Feel free to even incorporate the into your current decor too. ​

Remember though that just like flowers, there will come a time when it you need to dispose them. If you find a rotten orange guy on your front porch, just replace him with a fresh new one and enjoy!
