2/1/2017 0 Comments Time to Reboot![]() I just love the Chinese New Year. It’s a fresh start and always interesting to contemplate what the year may have in store for us. I also like to look at it as a sort of “beginning of the year-reboot”. If you’re like me, December 29th arrives and you realize it’s time to get resolutions in order. Sure we’ve been considering and possibly planning some, but it’s actually time to nail things down. Do you find roughly two weeks after January 1st that some of your resolutions have gone out the window? Maybe you’ve even realized that some need to be tweaked a bit. Perhaps you’ve even come up with some totally new intention for the year. It’s difficult to prepare for such an important intention setting time with all the holiday events we have going on. In my family, we have the winter holidays and then half a dozen birthdays in December too. It’s because of this, that I’m always excited about the Chinese New Year. I use the time between January 1st and the Chinese New Year to experiment with goals and intentions. I use this time to really hone in on what my goals are and how I’m going to reach them. Sometimes I may completely change my mind on an intention or totally change the way I’m going to meet a goal. If you’ve struggled with a goal that you set on January 1st, this is the perfect time to tweak your goal. Maybe it’s time to come up with some new intentions or some new paths to reach your goal. The official start of the Chinese New Year has passed, however, just begin fresh on your own. Perhaps the next Monday, or the beginning of the next month. Just find a time to begin fresh and own it! These are your goals and intentions, put your heart into it. You deserve it! What are your goals for this year???? Share below....
