4/29/2017 1 Comment What Exactly is a Space Clearing?![]() I often get asked about space clearings, how they work, and when to have one. First of all, this has nothing to do with physical clutter. Of course, it’s always good to get rid of any physical clutter prior, but in this type of clearing, we’re cleansing the energy in the space. Energy debris or stagnant energy can be a result of any negative emotions, thoughts and stress that you’ve experienced while in your home. It can be from illness, death, divorce or break-up or any other experiences with negative feelings attached to them. In a space clearing, I clear your home of this stagnant energy and then infuse the home with positive energy and your specific intentions. In a space clearing I use a variety of tools ranging from sound tools (bells, chimes and drums) to burning dried plants, salt, feathers, essential oils, and more. It all depends on your particular space and what I feel would be most beneficial to clearing out any negativity and setting intention for the future. After a clearing you may find a room you didn’t like so much, is now your favorite space to relax. Additionally, I’ve used space clearings to help clients find love, receive a wedding proposal, clear negative people from their life and gain a promotion. No, I’m not a magician, we’re simply setting the stage for these events to easily occur. It can actually be similar to cleaning physical clutter. For example, by having a neat and tidy home your day to day life seems to flow better right? When should you have a space clearing? I have several clients who require a seasonal clearing, some only need this done once a year. I then give my clients specific tools and guide them to doing their own clearing between my visits. While I think it’s important to continually clear out any negative energy, it’s just as important to clear after a major life event. Here are some examples of when a space clearing would be beneficial: After a major illness or death When moving When listing your home for sale After a divorce After a major argument After a family member or roommate moves out After creating new goals for you or your family (weight loss, job promotion, finding love etc.) I love that I get to help people feel better in their spaces and I want you to LOVE every space in your home too. Let’s discuss how a Space Clearing can benefit you.
