What is Your Front Door Saying?

What is your front door saying???  Is it dirty and unused?  Maybe the paint is chipping, and a lightbulb burned out?  It’s often said that first impressions are everything and this can also apply regarding Feng Shui and your home’s entry.

In Feng Shui we consider the front door the “Mouth of Chi”.  This is where energy enters your home, so it is important that we use tactics to attract and invite energy into your space.  How do you do this?
When working with a client I often invite them to do a “visit” to their own home.  I ask them to take a short walk down the street and then return to their home as if they had never been there before and answer the following questions.

Does the entry look tidy?
Does the entry look safe?
Does the entry look welcoming?
